Natalie’s Story

When I joined Helio I had a clear goal in mind; to lose a few stone, gain muscle strength and feel confident about my body.

Through regular gym sessions and getting involved in the classes – whether it’s 20 minutes on the treadmill or an hour workout, it really does add up! Zumba is definitely my favourite, getting me in that party mood! I forget I am working out and just having fun – burning calories is a bonus!

The team here at Helio were a massive help.

They’re all so friendly and approachable, making you feel like you’re a part of a bigger family rather than just gym members.

Starting Personal Training sessions with Chrystal was the best decision I made. She has been amazing! Even though it hasn’t been easy, she’s kept me motivated and loving what I do, which has led to me achieving what I set out to.

Natalie came to the gym with no confidence and was a newbie to training and the gym. I got her doing full body workouts and slowly changed her nutrition. Over the course of a year she has lost an amazing 4 stone and has gone from a size 16 to a size 8/10. As her confidence grew she began to take part in classes, such as Zumba, Spin and Metafit. Along the way she has hit a few obstacles, which everyone experiences, but when she did we changed her training and her food and she carried on to thrive and achieve more amazing results.

How she did it

From starting my journey a year ago I’ve lost a lot of weight, and gained a lot of muscle tone and strength. I would have never got this far without Chrystal’s help and support and I’ve also made a lifelong friend! I am so proud of how far I’ve come – I know Helio is the place for me.

I’ve set myself a further target of continuing my fitness journey and becoming body confident for my summer holiday in Ibiza with the girls. Bikini here I come!
